Preschool Program
Tilden Little House is for ages between 2.5 -4.5 years old
At Tilden Little House, we provide our children with rich learning materials and divide the classroom carefully into 5 areas - Practical Life, Sensorial Excercises, Language, Math, Cultural Studies, and Geography
The curriculum areas of a Montessori environment are interconnected and very dependent upon one another. Practical Life and Sensorial exercises form the foundation for Language and Math. Cultural, Art, and Music activities are incorporated into all areas of the classroom.
Tilden Little House is located 2 mins away from the Kensington Hilltop Elementary. We are in a central location, allowing our children to take advantage of the public services such as the Kensington Library, Playground, Hiking trail, Blake Gardens, Tilden Little farm and more — all within 5 mins distance from us.
What makes Montessori so relevant today is that it prepares children for real world experiences. The focus is to critically think, understand, and ultimately invent new questions, for tasks yet to be determined.
Montessori education offers our children opportunities to develop their potential as they step out into the world as engaged, competent, responsible, and respectful citizens with an understanding and appreciation that learning is for life
